  1. I am happy with the designs in this book. But I do not like the poor quality on some of the drawings. Some look sketched, not solid lines (my 3rd photo shows an example of this) But what bothers me more is that some of the designs are cut off on the right side of the page (on all of my photos) The priceon the book says $12, but for this reduced price I am going to keep it. I will still enjoy coloring these designs.

  2. The cover picture is included in the book and two other images in the book are like that one with Butterflies and flowers.

The rest of the images are very nicely done and all of them include butterflies, six are individual butterflies centered on the page, others are flutters of butterflies filling the page or in graceful patterns, you will find 3 like the cover page and other patterns made up of butterflies and flora.
If you love butterflies you will love this book.

    1. 30 illustrations printed one per page (the back of each page is blank)on light weight, bright white paper.

    2. All markers and gel pens leak through the pages, I place a piece of paper under the page I am coloring to prevent damage to the next page.

    3. Many of the illustrations cover the page and continue off the pages, but 1/8th inch has been left between the image and the binding so you can color the entire picture.

    4. The printing is not centered, 7 of the images in the book I got are cut off at the edge of the page, these are smaller images and include individual butterflies that should all be on the page, also Butterflies is spelt wrong on the cover of my book it is Butterfies . The images are all printed crisp and clear and perhaps these pages will be corrected in a future edition but I am knocking this book one star for this.

  3. I bought this book based on the cover image and was somewhat disappointed. I felt the quality of the book really varied. Not all pictures are as detailed as the one on the cover (which is, of course, the nicest one in the book by far) – and many images seemed simplistic and more suited to an older child than an adult. Others, while detailed, were more like realistic sketches of butterflies and flowers that you color in – which is not what I was looking for. I was hoping for stronger defined areas to fill in and not just a moth-lke pencil sketch to color where the entire wing is one open area. I also agree with the reviewer who said that some of the images are cut off on the right side. One image was even poorly defined and blurry and I was surprised that it would be included in the book in that condition. But…when all is said and done there are enough nice images (30) to make the book somewhat worth while gven the reduced price. I easier images are nice for nights when I don’t feel like using a lot of effort to color small detailed areas or when I don’t have a lot of time. In the end, I decided to use this more as a practice book to play around with colors, shading and technique.

  4. Bought a few of these adult coloring books for my mother in law while she is recuperating from major surgery. They arrived 30 hours after I placed the order and are doing a crack up job of keeping that old woman from leaping up every 5 minutes to scrub the floors or wash the dogs or clean the curtains… or… whatever else she thinks up. A+

  5. I bought this for my 88 year old Mother only to learn the night before I am to give it to her that the binding is defective. Paper is poor quality as well. Major Disappointment.

  6. The spelling on the front cover butterfies? and the quality of the book isn’t good wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

  7. I’m completely changing my previous review of this book. There’s only 3 pages I would consider nice and the rest is crappy. There’s one page that looks like a toddler did the drawing and used a printer that was almost out of ink! What a total waste of $6.99!!
